Modern Responsive Design
Polaris looks and works great on screen sizes of any type – all the way from super large monitors and till iOS and Android smartphones. It has beautiful wide 1170px layout that will look awesome on HD monitors and modern laptops. For netbooks and other small laptops the more compact 970px mode will be perfect. Tablet and smartphone users will also feel at home with their respective touch device modes.
Polaris also has really cool background color and image setup features. The theme has both Wide and Boxed background modes. If you pick the Boxed mode you can set up an awesome parallax effect or choose an image and pin it to your background.
Built-in Color Sets (Presets)
Polaris comes with four differently styled color sets that you can import with a single click – Fashion, Coffee, Tea & Spices. Each of the designs has it’s own distinctive color palette. You can take any of these and use it in your shop. Alternatively you can modify them to your liking using the Live Visual Editor. Fashion style has beautiful greyish tones that will make your product images pop. Coffee is demo is the darkest of the bunch. It’s styled in coffee tones and will fit really well with your real life Café. Tea and Spices demo is lighter and less intense – it has comforting green and yellowish color set.
